My #1 Core Value is “Community.” And by that, I mean “a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals,” which is (coincidentally) one of the dictionary definitions of the word.
Why is Community vital to your flourishing?
- Shared camaraderie - knowing we aren’t alone and are accepted
- It can be a barrier to threat or harm
- Helps us understand who we are
- Provides a sense of purpose and spirit of intention
- We band together for the greater good
